Dave O'Mara Contractor, Inc. was established in 1974 in North Vernon, Indiana. Having nine years of construction experience, from 1965 to 1974, working under the employment of Hesco, Inc., Dave O'Mara decided to establish his own business.

Our organization was implemented with the primary types of construction being mechanical, plumbing, and small utility installations. The business was incorporated in the State of Indiana in July, 1975.

Initially employing five people, Dave O'Mara Contractor, Inc. has grown and prospered, utilizing as many as 315 personnel on a seasonal basis. Our pursuit of excellence is evident in the quality of our work.

Dave personally oversees the bidding, scheduling, equipment, and material requirements for all projects, as well as maintaining daily contact with jobsite superintendents.

Our corporate affiliates are Dave O'Mara Paving, Inc., an asphalt production facility with six plants, and Padgett Trucking, Inc., which provides material and equipment delivery to our job sites with tractor trailers, lowboy trailers, and tri-axle dump trucks. Padgett is located in our new state of the art maintenance center.
